Road trip part 4: Port Campbell to Philip Island
It's been a week since I last wrote a blog post so i'll have to dig deep to remember the places we've been and the things we've seen. But i'll do my very best.
Our last post was written in Port Campbell, close to the 12 apostels and in the middle of the Great Ocean road. Our next stop was Queenscliff. But between Port Campbell and Queenscliff there was much to see. We spent a full day of watching the beautiful sights the Great Ocean Road has to offer. We spotted wild koala's hanging in trees over the roads we drove on and saw amazing cliffs and ocean views. We saw beautiful forest and plains filled with cattle. What a magnificent diverse piece of country this is. Words just can't explain how much beautiful sights we've seen on this last leg of our road trip. (our pictures can't really do it justice either, but please do enjoy them).
We arrived at Queenscliff in the beginning of the evening. I had been feeling a bit ill for 2 days but I blamed it on the kangaroo accident. But I just kept feeling worse and worse so I decided to just check my temperature, and sure enough I had quite a fever. So I headed straight for bed as Tim (the sweetheart) cooked us some dinner. We spent the rest of the night in out room (me sleeping, tim reading) and went to bed early that night. Our next stop: Philip Island.
